Kooinda Boutique Brewery

Our recent heatwave means ideal conditions to try something new and interesting made just around the corner!

Kooinda, meaning Happy Place, started in 2004 when four families decided to make their own hand crafted beer.  That dream is now a reality and you get to enjoy their dream as well.  Handmade using only the freshest ingredients and brewing to the German Purity Laws of 1516, they are able to do small ferments of only 400 litres, which ensures each batch is perfect before bottling.  This Pale Ale is not filtered and has no added preservatives, making it ideal for the health conscious.

Dark Copper hue

Bouquet
Notes of citrus and passionfruit override an underlying yeasty nutty character

Palate
Full bodied with hints of citrus rind and dried fruits, this Ale is best served in a wide mouthed glass, icy cold so as to enhance the hop and malt characteristics
